Frequently Asked Questions

Q: Where are the forms stored?
A: eForms Express™ leverages the powerful Kyocera Mita® printer and copier line to house the form sets.  That's right, all forms are stored at the printer/copier level.  Allowing for smaller network traffic and no need for high price Server based forms solution.

Q: How easy is it to get started?
A: In less then a half hour you can have 10 forms stored at the printer/Copier level and eForms Express™ application running.

Q: What method do I use to create the forms?
A: You can use Kyocera® Prescribe Forms Generator to create forms or use Form Maker Pro to custom create forms.  All you need to do is tell eForms Express™ some simple information and your up and running.

Q: How is the bar code created?
A: eForms Express™ creates the prescribe code for you. All you need to do is tell it where to place it on each form.  The bar code is created inside the printer or copier print controller.  Kyocera® print controllers offer over 40 bar codes allowing you to meet any requirement.

Q: How does the Document Management integration work?
A:eForms Express™ simply catalogs all forms printed along with metadata and houses it inside a SQL Express database. While printing two distinct bar codes on each form. The first bar code is the Form type. The second bar code is a unique number. Most DMS systems offer some type of bar code recognition along with data base look-up. You simply set the DMS to read the unique bar code and look it up inside our database.  At that time all index information is returned and populates the DMS index information for that document.  Also, at the same time the Form type bar code is read for easy identification of each form inside the DMS.

Q: Can I have eForms Express™ loaded on multiple workstations?
A: Yes, eForms Express™ is a client/server application.  You may purchase eForms Express™ WS which come with 1 client and 1 server.  Additional clients may be purchased.
